Youth-led technology reuse initiative

Old technology.
New opportunity.

We help businesses turn retired laptops, computers, monitors, and accessories into tools that can support students and communities instead of becoming e-waste.

Why we exist

Too much usable technology gets left behind.

Companies upgrade hardware all the time. Meanwhile, access to a dependable computer can still determine whether someone can complete schoolwork, apply for a job, or participate in the digital world.

See how companies can help
01

Keep good tech in use

Extend the life of laptops, desktops, displays, and accessories that still have value.

02

Connect supply with need

Create a simple bridge between organizations with retired equipment and communities that can use it.

03

Give teens a role in service

Build opportunities for young volunteers to organize, learn technical skills, and lead local impact.

For companies

Retiring hardware?
Put it to work again.

If your organization has technology it no longer needs, we want to make donation straightforward. From a few laptops to a larger office refresh, we can discuss what you have and what can be reused.

Monitors & accessories

Displays, docks, keyboards, mice, chargers, cables, and other useful equipment can help complete a setup.

Bulk equipment

Planning a hardware refresh? We can discuss larger quantities and practical pickup or drop-off options.

Simple by design

From office shelf to second life.

01

Tell us what you have

Share the type, quantity, condition, and location of the equipment.

02

Coordinate the handoff

We discuss practical pickup or drop-off options based on availability.

03

Inspect & prepare

Reusable devices are evaluated, cleaned, and prepared for their next use.

04

Give technology forward

Prepared equipment can then be matched with community needs.

Questions

Good to know.

Clear expectations make equipment donation easier for everyone.

Do donated computers have to work?+

Not necessarily. We can evaluate equipment, although severely damaged or unsafe devices may not be reusable.

Can a company donate many computers at once?+

Yes. Business and bulk equipment donations are encouraged, especially when organizations are replacing older hardware.

What happens to data on donated computers?+

Companies should remove confidential data before donating. TeensGiveTech intends to verify reusable storage devices are cleared before redistribution. Formal data-destruction guarantees should only be advertised after a documented process is in place.

Is my donation tax deductible?+

Tax deductibility depends on TeensGiveTech's legal and tax-exempt status at the time of donation. We will only advertise tax-deductible donations once the required status is officially in place.
